Kara Grainger

Singer Songwriter – Soul – Blues – Roots - Americana

Kara Grainger was born in Australia and grew up in a suburb of Sydney. It was there that she began her music career, which has since taken her on an incredible journey around the globe.

She still tours regularly in Australia, Asia, Europe, Canada and the USA. Today she lives in Nashville, USA.

In addition to her wonderful slide guitar playing, her voice is very special, technically impressive and capable of expressing warmth, vulnerability, longing and pain. She also has an exceptional talent for songwriting. She shapes and cultivates her own musical style, versatile and yet with clear interpretations of blues-soul-roots elements. She has recorded four albums to date and her new, fifth album will be released in summer 2024.

With her varied guitar playing of slide, acoustic and electric guitar, her soulful and soulful vocals, Kara knows how to produce a unique sound that captivates, inspires and always makes you want more.
